THE FIVE STEPS
SHOWROOM VISIT
COFFEE & CONCEPTS
Typically the design process starts with a showroom visit where we’ll undoubtedly get to chat and find out if we are on the same planet.
Here we will work out whether our at times, quirky, relaxed style of doing things, properly and completely, meets your approval.
We’ll have a look at furniture styles and finishes to get an idea of what you like and what you don’t like, but take the pressure off because we don’t necessarily need to get too involved it fine detail at this stage.
We’ll talk about quality and what makes us different and, no doubt, make an arrangement to come and take a look.
often we will be able to work with your architects plans or dimensional drawings.
HOME VISIT
LETS SIZE THINGS UP
During a home visit we’ll get to know a tad more about you, about your wants, needs & must haves.
We’ll discuss budget, reality and practicality, talk about the look, the layout and logistics and then we’ll take the all-important room dimensions.
CONCEPT DESIGN
ITS TIME TO PUT PEN TO PAPER
It’s then off to the drawing board to create the dream.
We’ll produce a first draft of our proposals, and designs, invariably with full colour visualisations and some outline costings.
At this stage we lock the door and don’t let you out until you’ve signed . . . I am Joking!
REFINING
THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL
It is all about the detail, lets get into colours, touch materials, look at finishes. We’ll fine tune and tweak it, having listened to your comments and your opinions.
At this stage we can get accurate and to the penny with our detailed Quotation, so that you’ll know exactly how much it’s going to hurt.
We will, if requested, have put together an accurate preparation, building and installation costing.
PRODUCTION
LETS BUILD THE DREAM
Assuming we are all in agreement, we’ll book production and arrange installation dates.
The decision making process can take days, weeks, months or years but at no stage are we going to add pressure. It’s all at your pace, providing of course that you don’t want it done next week as order to installation is typically 2-4 months.
Thankfully and luckily we are always busy, but we are worth waiting for. People come to us, often via recommendation, from far and wide, because we are honest , upfront and good at what we do.
Our aim is ALWAYS to give you the very best that we can give within the constraints of the budget that you have set for the project.
Then it’s over to the fitters to wave their wands and do their magic. You may have organised your own installation or be fitting yourself, either way you can be assured that our service includes all that we have to do to make the process run as smoothly as possible.
